Since 2017, emerging technology startups that are changing the omni-channel retail ecosystem have been invited by the producers of eTail West to showcase their solutions at the yearly conference in Palm Springs, CA. This year, 5 executives were recognized for creating innovative technology affecting the future of retail, including:
- Argentina Moise, CEO & Founder,
- Jewel Li, COO, AutoX
- Pete Daly, Co-Founder,
- Chelsie Lee, CEO & Co-Founder, Shipsi
- Alon Leibovich, CEO
“The retail landscape continues to experience seismic shifts as new technologies, platforms and customer preferences evolve and change as to how brands engage with their customers,” said Megan Kessler, Senior Program Director of eTail. “The technology providers that were selected for the eTail TechTank are also inspiring top retailers to re-think how technology builds seamless experiences for their customers.”
Following a brief presentation, eTail West attendees were given the opportunity to vote on which startup they felt had the most impactful business proposition. Shipsi was chosen for their innovative approach to providing retailers with the ability to offer same-day delivery leveraging the ‘last-mile’ of other services such as Postmates and Uber to complete the delivery. “It was a great honor to win at eTail West,” said Chelsie Lee, CEO & Co-Founder of Shipsi. “ The industry clearly recognizes that immediate delivery is the future of e-commerce.”
