I'm a multidisciplinary engineer, serial entrepreneur, and startup mentor. As a multidisciplinary engineer, I've built 200+ products (concentrating on agtech, medtech, and miltech). As a serial entrepreneur, I focus on deploying field-capable ruggedized sensors and diagnostics. As a startup mentor, I've worked with 1,000+ teams (concentrating on upfront prototyping and ideation as well as SBIR and technical hurdles). Additionally, I teach Disciplined Entrepreneurship, I-Corps, Lean Launch, and Rapid Prototyping. Currently, I have Entrepreneur in Residence and startup mentor roles across the US spanning economic development, universities, accelerator, and incubator programs.

|What type of founders can you help and why||In my work as a mentor across the US, I work with both non-technical and technical founders. I coach them on running customer discovery, using my experience teaching NSF I-Corps, and startup strategy. I also work with non-technical founders to build out feature trees of products and product development goals. In addition, I am heavily involved in the SBIR space, and focus on technical goals/aims/objectives. Currently, the industries I am focused on include agriculture (I am a mentor with the Iowa Agritech Accelerator), biomed (I have assisted countless clients with FDA, SBIR, and tech development hurdles), and military/government contracting (I am also a mentor with Defense Innovation Accelerator run by the National Security Innovation Network).|
