Life sometimes truly comes full circle.
9 years ago, I visited Brian MacMahon at his accelerator and VC fund, Expert DOJO in Santa Monica. We chatted cupcakes and real estate. I had watched his TEDx Talk. Brian’s energy was infectious and his deep commitment to helping founders was super clear.
If you would have told me that I would be back to speak as a VC fund partner several years later, I wouldn’t have believed you.
We were just missing Ryan tonight, but myself and my partners with The Veteran Fund could not be more grateful to Brian and Expert DOJO for hosting us tonight at their Ask An Investor event.
We tag teamed a 2 hour panel sharing anecdotes, tactics, personal experiences and fielding great questions from a room full of founders.
We even had a few of our LPs and one of our portfolio companies (Stitch 3D) in the room 🙌❤️
