Expert DOJO Accelerator Member Featured on Forbes.com
One of Expert DOJO’s accelerator members, Classic Stills, has been featured, yet again, on Forbes.com for their work with Warner Bros Consumer Products. Founder and CEO, Rene Freling, partnered with the entertainment giant to create a 24-piece, limited edition Harry Potter collection.
Classic Stills is more than just a platform to buy rare and iconic photographs- Freling and the team are committed to giving fans access to unique, often never-before-published prints from movies and TV shows. They license directly from the studios in order to give their customers an exclusive opportunity to invest in a piece of the fan culture that they helped create. They advertise their product as an opportunity to “own a piece of screen history.”
The company currently offers the following collections for purchase: Doctor Who, Game of Thrones, James Dean, John Carpenter’s Halloween, Jurassic Park, Harry Potter and The Sorcerer’s Stone, Roger Moore in The Saint, The Big Lebowski, and an entire Marvel Studios collection.
All prints are hand-framed and fully-assembled in order to preserve the integrity of the print, post-delivery. Classic Stills currently ships to the United States, Canada, and a number of European countries, and they are set to expand their reach in 2019. They have built an outstanding reputation among the photography community as well as their customer base, receiving high marks on all orders. The team also has a commitment to environmentally-conscious, US-made materials and prices well below market prices seen in traditional galleries. In this way, Classic Stills provides an affordable opportunity to own a piece of one-of-a-kind art for the conscious consumer.
Freling has been working with Expert DOJO for years now, and Classic Stills officially entered the accelerator program in August of 2018. The accelerator is designed to propel companies to their next round by assisting them in the completion of milestones over a 3-month period. Applications for the accelerator are currently being accepted on a rolling basis.
